Another Happy Customer!
Actual Customer Testimonial

I've had a hard time finding some not so common parts, until I found RockAuto.

I just made my second purchase with RockAuto. The first transaction was flawless, and I suspect this transaction will be too. I will definitely recommend your company to anyone who is in need of auto parts. Your prices are VERY reasonable, your service is outstanding, and most important, RockAuto actually had the parts I needed when no one else did!

GREAT JOB !!!!

 Body Parts update

Body Menu

In order to offer our customers an easier way to shop for body parts, we have just completed a revamp of the way body parts are now listed in our catalog. The following explains how body parts are categorized.

  • Various MFR parts come from companies like TYC Genera, DEPO (MaxZone), Kool-Vue and TYG. Regardless of manufacturer, these parts look and perform like original equipment -- they're all based on the same original-equipment designs.
  • Premium Line parts are more expensive because they come from brand-name, generally US-based manufacturers like Autolign and Visteon.
  • CAPA Certified parts bear the seal of the Certified Automotive Parts Association (http://www.capacertified.org/) guaranteeing fit and quality equal to original equipment. These parts may be required if your insurance company is paying for the repair.
  • Economy Line includes lights from EagleEyes and other products which are less expensive, but may be less durable and/or a less-exact match for original equipment than other lines.
  • Recycled parts may be "blem" items rejected by a vehicle assembly plant for minor scratches or other imperfections, parts left over at the end of a vehicle model year and sold as surplus, or parts recovered from a salvage yard. They are original equipment parts and arrive clean and ready to paint -- but they are not new parts.

Now you can get access to some of the same information sent to your dealership!

Infotraxx

Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) are documents released by vehicle manufacturers to dealerships describing fixes for common problems, unannounced warranty extensions, recalls, and other interesting information.

Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) come in several varieties and flavors. The most well known are those that accompany a recall. However, there are several types that are much more common. There are "Service Procedures" that identify an issue or repair common to a vehicle and illustrate how to perform it. In addition there are "Labor Guide Modifications" (a change in how long a certain repair should be billed for) and Warranty policy documents.

Look in the Literature category to find the TSB for your vehicle. After your order is submitted you will receive an e-mail with log-in information to the Infotraxx bulletins. The bulletins have free updates for one year.

The Mopar Twins

Mopars

My twin brother and I wanted to write you guys to say RockAuto rocks!

For a few years now, we've been putting our Mopars (1967 Plymouth belvedere, 318, a833 4speed & a 1969 Dodge Charger, 440 4bbl, 727 automatic) back together with your parts, everything from internal engine parts to electrical parts. You guys stock stuff the chain stores told us were not even available. Considering we're building cars from the 60's, it's been a pleasure to find so much stuff in stock on your site.

My twin Mark just had twins 1 year ago, and now I found out I'm having twins, due this July. So, it looks like our cars and your service can get passed on to another two sets of twins!
