Husky Leaf Spring Overload Kits |
|

|
Does your truck ride like this?
If so...it can now ride like this!
Husky leaf overload kits are auxiliary leaves that bolt on the existing leaf
springs. This gives a substantial increase in the spring rate automatically
when the vehicle is loaded. They become progressively more active as a load
is added and less active as a load is lessened ensuring appropriate support
to maintain good, comfortable, stable, and level ride regardless of the amount
of the load.

Progressive Leaf Overload Kit Benefits:
• Greatly increases load carrying capacity
• More stable loaded ride, less wander and wallow
• Easy bolt on installation
• Maintains comfortable empty ride
• Extends service life of other suspension components
• Smooth, quiet operation
You will find these parts in the "Suspension" category of the RockAuto
catalog.

alignment parts, and much more are now available.
Spicer coil springs are 100% load tested to ensure consistency and sold
in matched sets. They also have a baked enamel coating to prevent rust,
ensuring a longer life. CV Boots are made of Neoprene
for improved wear, better fit, flexibility in extreme cold, resistance
to solvents, oil and ozone, and ease of assembly. Ball joints feature
full ball design and case hardened seats for longer service life. Spicer
center and drag links are hot forged alloy steel for superior strength
and are coated for protection against corrosion.
All Spicer parts are designed to meet or exceed OE specifications. |

Avoid Holiday Accidents |
|

|
Everyone looks forward to the cards, gifts, and treats of the holiday season,
but November and December bring more than good tidings and cheer – They
also bring crowded roads, highways and parking lots.
The rush to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list, combined with
trips to the post office, parties, and in some locales, winter weather, can
increase the likelihood that accidents will occur.
“Like roads and highways, parking lots and garages get crowded during
the busy shopping season,” said Paul Ong of the CertifiedFirst® Network. “With
additional vehicles and road hazards, the holiday season can be a time of unfortunate
collisions.”
Here are some tips for the holiday season:
- Pay attention to the road and other drivers while traveling – don’t
be distracted by decorations, sale signage or other festive holiday details.
- Listen to weather forecasts before heading out to shop.
- Plan for additional traffic in shopping districts.
- Observe traffic signs
in parking lots and garages as you would on the street.
- Keep an eye open for the other shoppers and vehicles before exiting a
parking space and when driving through garages and lots.
- Respect parking spaces reserved for the disabled and use only if
a person with you is assigned a permit, or your car has special
plates.
- Try to stay in the holiday spirit – leave enough room for other
drivers to open doors, and be careful not to scratch or bump other vehicles
in
parking lots.
- Shop at off-peak times when there are fewer cars on the roads
and in parking lots.

Driving over the Rio Niteroi
bridge on the way home from the Impala rescue. |

I'm a customer in Brazil and very satisfied with RockAuto!
It's great to buy parts from you. Here in Brazil parts for
foreign cars, especially American cars, are hard to find. But
with the Internet, we can keep our toys rocking,
thanks to RockAuto!
I was the third owner of this 1973
Chevy Impala Sport Sedan.
I bought it through our local Ebay, and drove to Rio de Janeiro, 320 miles
from my home in São Paulo, to pick it up. It has a 350 2bbl, a TH400
transmission, and only 60K miles on it.
Unfortunately I sold the Impala
because I'm getting married. But I still have one
American car, a 1988 Ford Taurus, that is very rare here in Brazil.
Regards,
Denis
