All FAI valves are forged, machined and chromed to original specifications, and where applicable specialist materials/designs are used in the valve construction. Examples of these materials/designs are Chrome Nickel Manganese, Stellite, Inconel, Nimonic and Bi-Metallic construction.

As a conscientious supplier, FAI has initiated a program to mark every valve produced with the FAI part number, a factory code, and batch number. This information enables FAI to identify the valve/guide to the factory it was manufactured in and the date it was produced on. As our factory partners are ISO9001 & TS16949 certified, using this information we can identify the material used, the foundry it was produced in, the QC records taken during its production, and even the workforce on that shift. This means that our customers can be assured that we will have total traceability for our valve/guide range.
