Composed of durable and reinforced rubber compounds, QRS timing belts are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications and are guaranteed to withstand the highest temperatures and impact produced by the car engine. Helically wound, fibreglass tensile cords increase the flexibility and stability of the belt, making it suitable for use on both older and more modern, compact engines which are working under increased pressures. This compound structure also prevents the belt from stretching.
All QRS timing belts are provided in tamperproof sealed boxes, ensuring maximum protection. Where relevant, timing belt packaging may feature a QR code. When scanned with a smart phone this QR code links to product specific technical bulletins which advise on installation and warn against common fitment errors.
Timing Belt failure can result in unexpected breakdowns, or worse, catastrophic engine damage that may cost thousands of dollars to repair. Because Timing Belt replacement is often labor-intensive, it is recommended that all timing-related components be replaced at the same time (the life-span of your new Timing belt can also be reduced by as much as 50% if the components aren't replaced).
