DaycoŽ OAPs (Overrunning Alternator Pulleys) allow the alternator to 'freewheel' when the belt speed drops and they are engineered with one-way clutches that allows the rotational inertia of the alternator to "overrun" during any belt deceleration event.

DaycoŽ OAPs are application-specific replacement parts. If a vehicle requires an OAP, the same type of pulley must be installed. Proper tools must be used to remove and install OAPs.
