If your original Shock / Strut is surrounded by a Coil Spring, replacing just the bare cartridge may require a Coil Spring Compressor to safely remove and reuse the spring and mount (not included) from your original assembly. OSC evaluates and determines the vehicle specific dampening and rebound forces to return the vehicle to the original ride performance or better. Parts are tested for endurance, damping force, extreme temperature, vibration, noise, and strength.
