This TransGo TFSC SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit fits 1960 and newer Chrysler, Dodge Plymouth, AMC and Jeep vehicles with both small case three speed transmissions such as the A904, A998, A999, TF6 and 30RH as well as big case three speed transmission such as the A727, TF8, 36RH and 37RH with or without lock-up. Common complaints on this transmission are soft shifts, loss of power on launch, pump bushing burn-up, TC clutch failure, stalls in reverse when hot, converter hub failure as well as torque converter drain-back.
Features & Benefits:
The kit includes valve body components and modifications designed to deliver short smooth shifts as well as a better TC clutch apply. There are several innovative components in this kit. For instance, the line-to-converter feed system which helps the unit run cooler and promotes longer TC clutch life. Also included is a TransGo pioneered *manual valve to reduce overnight forward and reverse delayed engagement complaints due to torque converter drain back. Lastly, this kit can be installed with the transmission in the truck.

Reprogramming Kit -- ENGINEERED FOR PERFORMANCE
TransGo Reprogramming Kit™ valve body performance kits are made for Heavy Duty and/or Performance applications, and include additional features such as:
- Gear Command™: Allows full control of downshifting and will hold any gear to any RPM. Retains automatic up shifts in the drive position. Certain units allow manual up shifts on driver command.
- Manual Shift Control: This feature fully converts the valve body to manual/stick shift operation – no automatic shifts. Most Manual Shift Control kits also allow you the ability to easily convert back to automatic.
- Tuneless: Patent-pending internal calibration technology “tuneless” allows install without the need for additional transmission tuning software or programmers.
What is a Shift Kit?
TransGo Shift Kit® valve body repair kits are a combination of new and re-engineered components that are primarily installed in the valve body, but sometimes the pump or even in the transmission itself. These kits solve a variety of inherent problems and weaknesses that differ by transmission model, including usual warp and wear, often allowing a higher mileage transmission to work better than a new one. Typical components of a valve body repair kit include springs, valves, check balls, gaskets, separator plates, etc.
