One Tool kit works with all Ford and GM GEN2 6-speed FWD units. All other 6-speeds will have drop-in components that require no reaming or tooling.
Due to the new vent locations and the amount of bore wear on 2nd generation front wheel drive, six-speed automatic transmissions, Ford and General Motors valve bodies have leakage issues that can only be corrected by reaming and installing new actuator feed limit valves on General Motors units and the solenoid regulator valves on Ford units. TransGo has designed the easiest, no-hassle solution. This universal tool kit includes one reamer, with three guides. Each guide has grooves to indicate which transmission it is used for.
