Each AMS Solid Flywheel Conversion Kit has been designed as a direct replacement to the OEM Dual Mass Flywheel and clutch kit, and each system is compatible with the OEM hydraulic release system. Therefore, the service life and function of the release system is not compromised due to geometry problems.
Features:
- SFW conversion kits yield an average savings of 30%-50% over the OEM Dual Mass Flywheel
- Solid flywheels can be resurfaced, preventing the need to replace the flywheel with every clutch change
- SFW conversion kits provide equivalent or increased performance
- Greater durability due to no-wear components
- Service kit does not include the flywheel. Use this kit after your vehicle has been converted to a solid flywheel
 Consejos y Herramientas Para La Reparación - Wear a Dust Mask to protect against hazardous clutch dust. You can also spray the clutch with water prior to removal to reduce the amount of airborne dust during disassembly.
- Use a Flywheel Turner to hold the flywheel in place while removing and reinstalling the pressure plate bolts.
- Apply Blue Threadlocker to flywheel bolts prior to installation to prevent backing out due to the high vibrations flywheels are subject to.
- Use the provided lubricant to lightly lubricate the splines of the input shaft. Over lubricating the input shaft risks lubricant transfer to the clutch friction disc and can cause clutch slippage.
- Be sure to install the new clutch friction disc in the correct direction. The disc will have a "Flywheel Side" label on one side.
