Contains Shipping Oil Only
Features & Benefits:
  • This compressor contains Shipping Oil Only
    • Drain / discard shipping oil and add manufacturer's recommended type and amount of A/C Refrigerant Oil through drain bolt or suction port (check underhood label, OE compressor tag or vehicle service manual for system requirements)
  • Parts are direct fit replacements for the original and come from brands like Valeo, Denso, and others
  • 100% leak tested for long life and proper performance
Service Tip: Once filled with oil, place or hold the new A/C Compressor with the front seal facing down for 1-3 minutes. This will help coat the seal with oil - if this seal is not lubricated before installation, refrigerant may leak.
Which A/C Compressor Do I Need?

Certain vehicles came with multiple compressor styles. You can only replace your current compressor with the same style compressor. Locate the tag on the back or side of your existing compressor. Look for information like Manufacturer Name, Compressor Type / Style, and Model Number / Part Number.

A/C System Repair - Do it Right the First Time!

A successful A/C Compressor repair requires more than just the compressor! Always flush the system and replace the small components that cannot be flushed -- A/C Expansion Valve (or A/C Orifice Tube) and A/C Receiver Drier / Accumulator (or A/C Receiver Drier Desiccant Element) -- to prevent old contaminants from damaging your new compressor. Replacement of these components is often required to satisfy a manufacturer warranty claim.
