My Door Lock Is Not Operating...Is My Door Lock Actuator the Problem?
Try unlocking your car doors with each of your door switches.
- If none of the door locks are working, check for a blown fuse.
- If the door locks are working but not from one switch, it could be a faulty Door Lock Switch. (To find a replacement, click on "Door Lock Switch" under the "Electrical- Switch & Relay" category.)
- If the door locks work on all but one door, it could indicate a faulty Door Lock Actuator or a problem with the wiring going to it. You can remove your door panel to see if the actuator has seized or to inspect the wiring.
