Manufactured under the strictest quality standards in an ISO 14001:2004-registered factory, NuGeon semi-loaded calipers are built from O.E. castings to ensure the same fit and function as a new O.E. unit. Only the best cores, without wear, corrosion or blemishes are selected for the NuGeon line. All components used are of the highest quality and every unit is pressure-tested with the same machines and parameters that are used at O.E.M. factories.

Features & Benefits:
  • End-of-line pressure testing for leakage
  • Piston replacement with same piston material as O.E. (phenolic/aluminum)
  • Semi-loaded for end-user's choice of brake pad design and/or brand
  • Pad hardware and brackets included in box
  • Slider pins come pre-greased ensuring proper caliper movement and brake system stability
  • New pin boots reduce the chance that moisture and contaminates will cause corrosion
  • All rubber components are replaced assuring brakes perform at an optimal level
  • Banjo bolts and copper crush washers provided (where applicable) to assure proper seat on the brake inlet and caliper housing
  • New bleed screws ensure an airtight seal
Installation Tips
  • Always inspect brake pads and rotors when replacing your calipers. Faulty calipers can lead to uneven pad and rotor wear
  • Inspect or change brake hoses when replacing the caliper. Worn or damaged hoses should be replaced to prevent brake fluid contamination or loss
  • Use a Brake Fluid Tester to test your brake fluid. If your brake fluid has moisture in it, flush the system before installing the new caliper
  • Apply Blue Threadlocker to caliper bracket mounting bolts to lock the bolts in place and prevent loosening or backing out
  • After installing the new caliper, bleed your brakes to ensure no air is trapped in the brake fluid. RockAuto offers a selection of Brake Bleeding Tools to help with this process
  • After the brakes have been bled, top off the master cylinder reservoir with the proper Brake Fluid
