WIX In-Line Filters are designed to remove contaminants commonly found in automatic transmission fluid. These filters extract both ferrous and non-ferrous particles from transmission fluid, increasing protection of the hydraulic and lubrication systems.
Features:
Double-action full-flow filtration: A powerful plastic magnet attracts and
holds ferrous wear material suspended in the passing fluid flow, while a sturdy paper element, reinforced by a steel sleeve, traps the remaining non-ferrous contaminants as small as 25 microns
If the paper element becomes clogged with contaminants, a pressure relief valve assures continuous fluid flow, while the magnet continues to filter metallic particles from the fluid
Removes 95% of all metallic impurities introduced into the transmission fluid
Rugged construction can withstand constant pressures as high as 200 psi and intermittent short surges of even higher pressure
Built to handle the sudden impacts and severe vibration an automatic transmission may undergo
Easy to Install: Can be installed in less than ten minutes, and replaced in less that five!
