ACDelco Engine Components offer installer-friendly product categories -- such as intake manifolds, intake manifold gaskets, engine oil cooler lines, tensioners, balancers and pulleys, etc. -- for most GM cars, light-duty trucks and SUVs on the road today. All are OE validated by GM Engineering to assure proper form, fit and function. This is important on these high-labor-hour heavy repairs. The part designs are enhanced to incorporate OE updates, upgrades and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs). Only ACDelco can offer complete late-model coverage.
Tips & Tools For The Repair - Replace all Transmission Cooler Lines at the same time to prevent system contamination
- Apply Penetrating Oil to corroded or stuck cooler line fittings to help break them loose
- Disconnect the cooler lines using a Flare Nut Wrench and drain the transmission fluid into a Drain Pan
- Consider installing an In-Line Transmission Filter on the return line to prevent system contamination and extend the life of the transmission
- Measure the amount of old transmission fluid drained to determine how much new Transmission Fluid to add
- Use a Funnel to prevent spills when refilling the transmission
