A CURT electrical converter provides a trailer connector on your vehicle by slicing into the vehicles electrical system. Electrical converters are designed to splice directly into the taillight wiring, rather than plugging into various sockets, giving them the nickname 'taillight converters'. It is designed to fit certain years of the Audi Q5 (except hybrid), BMW 328i xDrive sedan, BMW X5 SUV, Infiniti M37x sedan or Mercedes SLK250. This converter is made with cutting-edge surface-mount technology (SMT) circuitry, featuring electrical components that are mounted directly to the surface of the board rather than being inserted into a series of holes.
