Monroe® Magnum™ RV shock absorbers utilize advanced technology, combining a gas charge and full displaced valving for superior RV performance.
Features:
- Robust Hydraulic Lock-Out: Prevents over-extension of the suspension, top-out of the piston and averts damage to the seal assembly (on most applications)
- Nitrogen Gas-Charged: For improved ride and handling. Helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration
- Loop Welding Technique: Provides up to 14,100 lbs. (6,395 kg) tensile strength for maximum durability
- Larger Reserve Tube: More fluid for more consistent performance (on most applications)
- Larger Bore: Provides more consistent control (on most applications)
- 5/8" (16 mm) Diameter Piston Rod: Nitrocarburized design is more environmentally friendly and maintains chrome structural benefits without affecting durability or use life of the rod. Sintered iron design allows for more precise piston dimensions, requiring no additional components for exceptional fit (on most applications)
- Multi-Lip Fluid Seal : Designed for smooth performance, long life, and reduced friction
- Assists in maintaining ride height when up to 1,200 lbs of additional weight is loaded
- Offers superior comfort for normal driving and deliverd extra control when conditions get more demanding
